Choose the wrong backpack

Many hikers go wrong for the first time in choosing a backpack because it is light, and that's it. A good package has a huge impact on a hiking adventure. You should consider size, fit, quality and ease of use.

When choosing a backpack for hiking, consider the weather, season, duration of your trip, and how far you go.

Wearing the wrong clothes

You think, it's just a daily hike and you shouldn't put a lot of thought into what you're going to wear – wrong. Short or long height, proper clothing is important to ensure comfort on a trail. Cotton fabric, even lightweight, takes a while to dry from sweat (or rain). This increases the risk of hypothermia.

Choose fabric wicking instead of polyester and wool. Don't forget to wear comfortable socks and shoes too!

Not to bring the first aid kit

The open air is prone to accidents, and if you are a beginner in hiking, you must be prepared in medical emergencies, you may be scraping, splitting, allergic, or a snake bite. Pack the first-aid kit suitable for the length of your trip and the size of your kit. If there is an item that you do not know how to use, make sure you know beforehand. Safety should be your top priority.

Not eating breakfast

Breakfast is really the most important meal of the day. Before walking, you need all the energy you can get from a healthy, balanced meal. Choose foods rich in fiber and protein to maintain your metabolism and stimulate you. An example is juices and yogurt with fruit and granola.

Excessive exercise yourself

Always choose a course that suits you. If you are a beginner, you need to lift a few easy tracks first, preferably with a guide. Go properly and rest when you are tired. Don't feel pressured to keep up with other hikers.
